Other things besides politics...
Over the last few weeks I have been blogging a lot about the political situation in the U.S., and throughout the world. With Great Lent about to begin in the Orthodox Church I am going to shift directions over the next few days, and being to post some articles and stories, that will help prepare the reader, (even if I am the only one reading them) for the journey through Great Lent and on towards Pascha.
On another interesting note; the Roman Catholic Easter falls very early this year --falling on the 23rd of March. Apparently, for them the date of Easter won't fall this early for another 220 years; that according to an email a Roman Catholic friend sent me last night.
Anyway, in the next few days I will make the shift from politics back to religion. I will keep the readers up on some of the political stuff but perhaps not as much.
